Established for over three years, White Cottage has become a favoured
‘Special Place To Stay’ not only by Alastair Sawday, but also by
returning guests, local people and new visitors.
Set in three acres of idyllic countryside, this delightful 300-year-old
thatched cottage is the perfect place to relax and offers you elegant
rooms, plenty of off-road parking and mouth-watering food.
Our White Cottage hens will lay you the most delicious fresh eggs
in the morning and we are now growing our own organic vegetables. Home-cooked dinner is an optional extra that comes
highly recommended, and will save you the inconvenience of dining out
(24 hours notice is required, please see our menu for prices and
further information).
Situated in the hamlet of Athelhampton, this delightful bed and
breakfast is within easy reach of many attractions and provides a
perfect base for rural walks, bird watching, cycling, horse riding and
exploring Thomas Hardy country.
